css 2025 updates

Registration and fee collection for children aged 4–12 will take place in their classrooms on Tuesday, 8th July, Day 1 of CSS.

What to do:

• Print and fill the registration slip (last page of the document sent to your email).

• No printer? Neatly write the details on paper or directly on the envelope.

• Place AED 150 in cash inside a sealed envelope.

• Attach the registration slip to the outside of the envelope.

• Clearly write your child’s full name and age on the envelope.

• Your child must hand the envelope to their classroom teacher only.

• Please do NOT give it to bus volunteers or drivers.

• Use a separate envelope per child – no combined forms for siblings.

Clothing & Identification

• Dress your child in comfortable clothes and shoes.

• Pack an extra t-shirt in case of emergencies.

• Just for the first day, children below 7 years must wear a tag/badge with some form of identification such as:

  • Child’s Name

  • Parent’s Name

  • Parent’s Mobile Number

• Please check your email daily for updates from the CSS team.

• Don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder to ensure you don’t miss anything.

As we approach CSS, especially the first day, things can get hectic. We appreciate your patience and prayers as the team works hard to make everything smooth—especially the transport team managing pickups across locations. Please continue to uphold the event and volunteers in prayer.

If you did not already fill in the information with regard to any Medical Condition/Current Medications/if any or Food Allergies on the website registration, kindly email us the details and we shall add your information to our database.

• Children aged 4-12 years need to bring a small pouch with a pencil, eraser, and sharpener.

• Other required stationery will provided be as per requirement in each class.

• Please ensure they are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for Day 2 and Day 3 for the Games sessions.

• For Toddlers (aged 4-5) please pack an extra pair of clothes just in case.

• Meals, water, and snacks will be provided at the church premises.

• If your child (aged 4–12) requires a vegetarian meal, please have them inform their classroom teacher.

• For allergies or dietary restrictions, send a clearly written note in an envelope labeled “Teacher – Food Allergy.”

While we aim to provide the best, food options are limited, and children may need to adjust to the available menu each day.

• Bus driver details and routes will be posted by the end of Monday 7 July.

• Drivers will call you as well.

On the First Day:

• Each bus will be assigned a color, and children will receive a matching wristband.

  • These must be worn all five days.

  • They are waterproof and safe for showers.

  • Children will not be allowed on the bus without it, so please ask them to keep it safe.

• During dispersal, bus colors will be announced, so make sure your child knows their bus color.

Important Notes:

• Transport is limited and meant only for children and volunteers, not parents.

• Children must travel on the same bus all five days.

• Do not change buses for convenience or to be with friends.

• If your child is not using the return bus on any day, parents must inform the driver directly and drop us an email on csscfdubai@gmail.com.

• If your child is unsure about their bus, instruct them to:

  • Wait at the gate, or

  • Ask a volunteer in a blue T-shirt for help.
